Bihar Motor Vehicle Rules

(i) the power, with or without modification or refusal to grant an authorization for a tourist vehicle in accordance with section 88, subsection (9), and the power to impose conditions or modify the conditions attached to that authorization. (a) The provisional registration was made in the name of………….. for the motor vehicle of the following description and was valid until………………… Do………………. Model……………. Kind……………………………… Chassis number……. Engine No…………… (a) the vehicle may not be driven in a public place, except by the permit holder or a driver authorized in writing by the permit holder and authorized by the regional transportation officer or the Asstt. R.T. O., according to the written licence carries a licence of this driver while driving and has at the request of a police officer or officer of the motor vehicle service and above the rank of an asstt. The motor vehicle inspector shall submit such a control authorisation in a uniform manner; (iii) the power to countersign or refuse to countersign an authorization to transport stages granted in another region of the State, a contractual authorization to transport or an authorization for a private service vehicle, and the power to impose or modify such a condition for such a counter-instruction.

(b) such authorisation shall also be subject to the condition that the holder may not authorise any person to drive in the vehicle, unless that person is in possession of an identity card signed and issued by the holder bearing the photograph of that person indicating his name and rank or the designation of the position he holds; (b) must be well dressed and in the manner determined by the Government of the State. Provided that the drivers of such vehicles are or become likely to perform duties or undergo training in an emergency, the State Government may exempt such drivers from the application of this clause on a general or special basis for the period specified in the Order. (b) where the brakes of the trailer can be applied by the driver of the towing vehicle or by another person accompanying that vehicle, that other person shall be carried in that vehicle in addition to the driver in accordance with the provisions of Division (a) of Subdivision (ii) and a person on the last trailer of the train; (ii) The district judge may, by means of a notice published in the area in question and by erecting it in appropriate places on the road sign no. M18, as set out in the schedule to the Act, prohibits drivers of motor vehicles from using horns, gongs or other audible warning devices in any area of the city or district and at the times specified in the notice: (b) until the licence is returned to the holder, he is not authorized to drive a motor vehicle (without being in possession of his driver`s licence), (iii) a white window of at least 38 cm in diameter shall be affixed to the rear of that rod or other article in such a way that it is clearly visible from the rear at all times and at night a lamp, in addition to the lamps prescribed on the vehicle, so that a red light at the rear is displayed. (iv) the owner of the land, or request the local authority to construct other works specified in the regulations or in the direction and to maintain them in an operational, clean and hygienic state; (ii) the applicant or a staff member assigned by him to inspect the vehicle should be able to operate the gas analyser and fumimeter available at the test station and should also be able to remedy minor defects in the vehicle; (b) All registration marks and other marks to be affixed to a motor vehicle by or in accordance with the provisions of the law shall always be maintained as far as possible in a clear and legible condition. (ii) Any time spent by the driver of a vehicle on or near the vehicle while at rest, when he is free to leave the vehicle to rest and cool off, although he must remain in sight of the vehicle, shall be considered a rest period within the meaning of Article 91, paragraph (i) (a).
