Bloomberg, Lexis Advance and Westlaw offer comprehensive practice centers or areas for professional associations that are convenient starting points for research. The Uniform Law Harmonization Commission (“ULC”) and the American Law Institute have passed several uniform statutes that apply to unincorporated corporations (i.e., non-corporate corporations), including the Revised Uniform Limited Liability Company Act, the Uniform Partnership Act, the Uniform Limited Partnership Act, and the most recent Uniform Business Organizations Code (“UBOC”).
